Article 263 of the Indian constitution is very important when we talk about the relationships that must be established between the central government and the state governments so that there are no disputes and tensions between them, and the functioning of the system goes on easily. The Article 263

Major Composition of the members of the Council

  • the Prime Minister of the country chairman of the council
  • The chief ministers of all the states are also part of this council
  • The chief ministers of all the union territories of the country who have their legislative assemblies are also part of the council.
  • Also, the administrators of different union territories without any legislative assembly are part of the council too.
  • the governors of all the states which are being administered by the rule of the president of the country are also in the council.
  • The council also includes all the six Union Cabinet Ministers, this also including the Home Minister of the country, which are to be nominated by the Prime Minister of the country.
  • There also are four ministers of the cabinet Rank who are the Permanent Invitees of the council.
