The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET UG Answer key and response sheet on 30th August 2022. Candidates can avail of the NEET 2022 Answer Key through the official website. The answer key helps candidates evaluate their performance. The estimated score too can be calculated using the Answer key. If a candidate wants to file an objection, he has got till 2nd September 2022 to do so. For every objection raised individuals need to pay a fee of Rs.200/- each. The result of the NEET examination will be released on 7th September 2022.

How to Calculate Scores Using NEET 2022 Answer Key?
Marking Scheme:
- It is a MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) Test
- Each question carries 4 mark
- Negative Marking is there. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted
- No negative marking is applied for unanswered questions
To calculate the marks for the examination, candidates can follow the below-given steps
Step 1 – Download the NEET Answer Key
Step 2 – Check the answers using the official answer key
Step 3 – Add the sum of the correct answers and multiply with 4
Step 4 – Add the sum of incorrect answers and multiply with 1
Step 5 – Subtract the total of step- 4 from step- 3. The remaining marks is an estimated score.
How to Challenge the NEET Official Answer Key 2022?
Note: In case a candidate has a doubt/ objection regarding answer(s) in the NEET Answer Key issued by the Board, he/she can raise/ file the issue/ objection. The candidate should upload the question along with the proof/ evidence through the online link provided on the official website. Objections filed through any other process will not be entertained.
The process to Raise an Objection for NEET Answer Key
Step 1 – Open the official NTA NEET website- neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2 – Click on Challenge NEET-UG 2022 answer key link
Step 3 – Login using the credentials – application number and password
Step 4 – Click on challenge key option
Step 5 – Select your test booklet code
Step 6 – Select the question numbers
Step 7 – Click on submit option
Step 8 – Select the answer that you think is correct and provide a brief explanation
Step 9 – Click on the confirm option
Step 10 – Pay the objection filing fee
Step 11 – Download the confirmation slip
Step 12 – Take a printout
Important:
- Candidates require to make a payment of Rs.200/- for every objection filed by them
- The payment should be made online
- The fee paid for raising an objection is non-refundable
- The candidates must also provide a point to justify their objection.
- Once the board receives all the challenges by the candidates, it will evaluate the answers and thereafter release the NEET Final Answer Key.
