The presence of unity among the people of the country despite their variations makes it difficult to disintegrate the nation. The unity among the citizens integrates the nation and contributes to maintaining peace.
• Development and Growth: The unity of the nation majorly contributes to leading the country towards development and growth. A united country will have the least amount of internal matters and problems, and thus, the nation can focus more on the economic growth leading to its development.

It is the unity of the nation that sets an example for all other countries by highlighting the values and morals of people who respect and encourage one another despite different religions, caste, creed, cultures, and gender.

Spreading unity and brotherhood in the nation:

In a diverse country like India, millions of people with different cultures and traditions influence their ideologies and way of living. To promote a sense of unity and brotherhood, one needs to accept and accord every person with respect. Tribal tolerance can be further categorized as:
• Tribal Tolerance: By tribal tolerance, it implies respecting every tribe living in the country.
• Religious Tolerance: By religious tolerance, it implies respecting every religion practised by the country’s people.
• Patriotism: Patriotism is the feeling of love and responsibility towards the nation. This is considered one of the vital tools for promoting unity and brotherhood in the nation because when there is love for the nation, the sense of togetherness is developed automatically among the citizens. 
• Showing hospitality to each other: The citizens need to be hospitable to spread the sense of unity and brotherhood in the country. Hospitality implies showing love and kindness towards other people living around, especially strangers. Showing hospitality towards people secures a good impression of a person with a pure heart and that they want to co-exist peacefully. 
• Living a life devoid of discrimination: Discrimination is basically the ct or ignoring or avoiding building relationships with people belonging to different tribes, caste, creed, or religion. The root cause is that a country lacks a sense of unity and brotherhood. Constant discrimination can develop a feeling of insecurity and hatred. Therefore, one needs to avoid the act of discrimination and treat everyone with respect and love to spread unity and brotherhood in the country.
• Encouraging inter-Caste marriages is considered one of the best ways to promote national unity and a sense of brotherhood. In case young people are willing to get married in another caste, it is the responsibility of parents to encourage the same and not to demotivate their children. When in-Moreover, when other ethnic extractions are made, two cultures are fused, and the relationship lasts for ages which further creates a hybrid and united country.
