Eco Bridge

Eco bridges are the crossing of the wildlife which is known as the wildlife crossings. This connects two larger areas that have similar wildlife.

Eco bridges are one kind of bridge in the wildlife which help the animals to cross the area which have been connected through human infrastructures. This eco bridge is beneficial for the animals to have a large area and helps to connect with other animals. The bridge is being designed to connect animals that are from the same region or background. There are several types of underpass tunnels, fish ladders, and canopy bridges. All of these bridges are used for several purposes but the goal is mutual. This process to keep the wildlife secure and improve the lifestyle of those animals. There are information on the importance and other necessary information in this assessment that provides an overview of this eco bridge to the readers.   

What is an Eco Bridge?

This eco bridge is a pathway to maintain the wildlife balance in similar origins and animals use this bridge to cross the infrastructure such as roads and highways. This has been built to rescue the animals from several accidents. In 2011, the construction of this eco bridge started which took around 1 year to complete and this bridge is made by using trees and shrubs. This bridge is successfully able to maintain the ecosystem of the forest.    

What is the importance of an Eco Bridge?

Eco bridges are the beneficial factors to keep the inhibition process of the wildlife. Nowadays, people are focusing more on developing nations and constructing highways continuously. According to the research process, it came to know that 50,000 km of road projects have been constructed and According to the National Tiger Conservation Authority, this creates issues and cut the wildlife inhabitation. There are State Highway 33, National Highway 37 which cut wildlife in Assam. These eco-bridges create pathways and maintain the world life security and maintain the balance of it. These eco bridges are different in every location and also depend on the size. Other than this, the developers’ also have to build it according to the size and walk patterns of the animals.        

What are the eco bridges in India?

There are several eco bridges that have been built throughout India and the first eco bridge is built in Kaladhungi Division across the Ramnagar Forest. This bridge is built to save the reptiles and the small animals of the forest. This is a built-in Nainital state, Uttarakhand. This eco bridge has been developed according to the walking styles and the species of those animals. The developers also have to maintain the durability of those bridges to maintain the safety of those animal lives. It is 27 meters long and made from bamboo, grass and jute. There are also implement of cameras on both sides which help to monitor the movement of those animals. This eco bridge is now becoming the attraction of the tourists and the forest officer takes care of those animals.         

What is the relation between environment and ecology?

Ecology is a study procedure which depicts the relation between the animals and the environment. Proper environmentalism affects the ecology process and it also helps the forest officer to get knowledge about those animals and their movements. These studies also help people to get information about the wildlife animals and the people gather knowledge about the animals. There is information about different types of eco bridges and there are different size-types of animals that have different backgrounds. In this scenario, they have to build those bridges between same-origin animals and reptiles. However, there are some safety precautions to maintain their wildlife. The ecology also depicts the different types of soil, water, and air which affects the animals of those forests. However, this impact on the other species and the tress of the forest and the animals act differently.
