General Knowledge, Current Affairs & Renaissance in Kerala:
Candidates should show the following knowledge when answering questions in this section:
(i) General awareness about the country and appreciation of its heritage is a must for every citizen of India.
Formation, growth, development and achievements of modern India should be known to every citizen including its culture and heritage.
(ii) The Ancient and Medieval cities and towns of India should be known to every citizen.
(iii) The accomplishments of the great men of India in different fields should be known to every citizen.
(iv) Indian literature, the principles of economics, political science and social science should be known to every citizen.
(v) The contribution of India in different fields like Science, Technology etc should be known to every citizen.
General English:
This section will consist of questions which will test the candidates’ proficiency in General English.
(i) Sentence Correction: In this type of sentence correction, questions will be asked with regard to the restructuring of sentences for the improvement in the grammatical coherence and construction.
(ii) Synonyms: In this type (of Synonyms), candidates can be tested on using antonyms and synonyms in a sentence effectively.
(iii) Antonyms: This section will contain questions concerning choosing antonyms for particular words from given options.
(iv) Comprehension: Questions in this section will test the understanding power of candidates by asking for synopses of articles or paragraphs (short or long).

ടൈപ്പിസ്റ്റിനുള്ള പരീക്ഷ പാറ്റേൺ 2022:
കേരളത്തിലെ പൊതുവിജ്ഞാനം, ആനുകാലിക സംഭവങ്ങൾ, നവോത്ഥാനം
ഈ വിഭാഗത്തിലെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉത്തരം നൽകുമ്പോൾ ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഇനിപ്പറയുന്ന അറിവുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം:
(i) രാജ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പൊതുവായ അവബോധവും അതിന്‍ പൈതൃകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള മതിപ്പും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഓരോ പൗരനും ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടത് അനിവാര്യമാണ്.
ആധുനിക ഇന്ത്യയുടെ രൂപീകരണവും വളർച്ചയും വികസനവും നേട്ടങ്ങളും അതിന്‍റെ സംസ്കാരവും പൈതൃകവും ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഓരോ പൗരനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം.
(ii) ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പുരാതന, മധ്യകാല നഗരങ്ങളും പട്ടണങ്ങളും ഓരോ പൗരനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം.
(iii) വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മഹാന്മാരുടെ നേട്ടങ്ങൾ ഓരോ പൗരനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം.
(iv) ഇന്ത്യൻ സാഹിത്യം, സാമ്പത്തിക ശാസ്ത്രം, രാഷ്ട്രീയ ശാസ്ത്രം, സാമൂഹിക ശാസ്ത്രം എന്നിവയുടെ തത്വങ്ങൾ ഓരോ പൗരനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം.
(v) ശാസ്ത്രം, സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ തുടങ്ങിയ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സംഭാവനകൾ ഓരോ പൗരനും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കണം.
ജനറൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്:
ഈ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികളുടെ ജനറൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലെ പ്രാവീണ്യം പരിശോധിക്കുന്ന ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.
(i) വാക്യം തിരുത്തൽ: ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള വാക്യ തിരുത്തലിൽ, വ്യാകരണപരമായ യോജിപ്പും നിർമ്മാണവും മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് വാക്യങ്ങളുടെ പുനഃക്രമീകരണം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിക്കും.
(ii) പര്യായങ്ങൾ: ഈ തരത്തിലുള്ള (പര്യായങ്ങളിൽ), ഒരു വാക്യത്തിലെ വിപരീതപദങ്ങളും പര്യായങ്ങളും ഫലപ്രദമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന് ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികളെ പരീക്ഷിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.
(iii) വിപരീതപദങ്ങൾ: നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഓപ്‌ഷനുകളിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രത്യേക വാക്കുകൾക്ക് വിപരീതപദങ്ങൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഈ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.
(iv) ഗ്രാഹ്യം: ഈ വിഭാഗത്തിലെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ, ലേഖനങ്ങളുടെയോ ഖണ്ഡികകളുടെയോ (ഹ്രസ്വമോ നീളമോ) സംഗ്രഹം ചോദിച്ച് ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികളുടെ ധാരണാശക്തി പരിശോധിക്കും.
