Value of log 4

In this article we will study about value of log 4, find the general value of log (4+3i), what is the value of log subscript 27 baseline 9. log 4 can be determined by using base values '10', 'e', and '2'. 0.60206 is the logarithmic function of 4 to the base 10.4 has a natural logarithmic value of 1.386294.

In mathematics, the logarithm is the inverse function of exponentiation. To put it another way, the logarithm of a given number x is the exponent by which another fixed number, the base b, must be raised to generate that number x.

The inverse of an exponential function is a logarithmic function. In essence, if a raised to the power of y yields x, then the logarithm of x with base a yields y. In equation form, ay=x is equivalent to loga(x)=y

In other words, the logarithm of x, or logax , shows how much power we need to raise a to (or, if x is greater than one, how many times a needs to be multiplied by itself) to get the value x. From this point of view, we can also represent the logarithm as follows:

Value of log 4

How do you calculate the value of log 4

1. 4  Represents the log function of 4 to the base 10.

According to the logarithmic function’s definition,

Base a=10 & (10)x=b

The value of log 4 to the base 10 is given by 0.6020 when using a logarithm table.

Then,

2. “log 4” denotes the natural log function of 4. It’s also referred to as the log function of 4 to the base e. The natural log of 4 is represented by ln (4)

Value of loge= 1.386294

Find the general value of log (4+3i)

Given,

In this case, the argument(∅) of our complex number (4+3i) is, 34

Using trigonometry, we have sin ∅ =35 and cos ∅=45

(4+3i) has a modulus of 5

4+3i=5(45+35i)

4+3i= 5(cos ∅ +isin ∅ )

By employing Euler’s Form,

cos ∅ +isin ∅ =e.(i.∅)

Therefore,

As a result of the logarithmic property,

Substituting for the value of ∅

As a result, the real part of is .

What is the value of log subscript 27 baseline 9

Solution: Rewrite the sentence as an equation.

Given:

then the equation is

Using the definition of a logarithm, rewrite in exponential form. If x and b are both positive real numbers and b is not equal to one, then is equivalent to by=x

27x=9

Now, in the equation, write expressions with equal bases.

(33)x=32

(33)x=33x

33x=32

Because the bases are identical, two expressions are only equal if their exponents are also equal.

3x=2

x=23

23 is the value of the variable x

Answer: The outcome can be displayed in a variety of ways 23 and decimal form 0.6

Conclusion

We discovered this in this article. In algebra, “log” is an abbreviation for “logarithm are the inverses, or opposites, of exponentiated equations such as y = x3. Logs, in their most basic form, assist in determining how many of one number must be multiplied to obtain another number. A logarithm (or log) is a mathematical expression that answers the question, Logarithmic Functions in Use The ability of logarithms to solve exponential equations accounts for a large part of their power.

Ans. The value of log 4 can be calculated using the base as ’10’, ‘e’, and ‘2‘. The logarithmic function of 4 to the base 10 equals 0.60206. The natural logarithmic value of 4 is 1.386294.

Ans. The logarithm, or log, is the inverse of the exponentiation mathematical operation. This means that the log of a number is the number that must be raised from a fixed base to yield the number. Log implies that base 10 is being used, but the base can technically be anything.

Ans. A logarithm is the number of powers that a number must be raised to in order to get another number. The base ten logarithm of 100, for example, is 2, because ten raised to the power of two equals 100: log(100) = 2

Ans. A logarithmic function’s graph passes through the point (1,0) which is the inverse of an exponential function’s (0,1).  The graph of a logarithmic function has a vertical asymptote at x = 0. If 0 b 1, the graph of a logarithmic function will decrease from left to right.

Ans. f(x) = log base b of x is the logarithmic function. The base 10 is used in the common log.
