- Switching Property-The interchange of any two rows or columns of the matrix changes the sign of determinants.
- Scalar Multiple Property-If all the elements of a row or column of a matrix of determinants are multiplied by a non-zero content. The result of the determinant gets multiplied by the same constant.
- Triangle property-If, all the numbers of a determinant are situated above or below the main diagonal having value zeros. The determinant is equal to the products of the diagonal elements.
