Appointment Of Judges

Ans: The judges on the Supreme Court and the high court are recommended by the collegium, which finds the ability to be a judge after the retiring of the present judge. In this case, they have to be aware that the recommended person has the all capabilities and knowledge to be a judge in the long run. 

Ans: In this case, after recommending the judge, the president of India has a great responsibility to approve the appointment of the judge.  After all of this, the president also focuses on different facts and examines whether the person will be perfect for maintaining the position of judge. Examining all things and depending on the knowledge of the person, the president approves the appointment of a judge and he or she becomes the next judge after retiring the present judge.  

Ans: The Collegium system is the most important system used for the process of appointing a judge for the upcoming situation. In this case, the system makes the entire process easier and the president can be helped a lot to make a better decision in the process of approving the appointment of a judge. 

Ans: The president of India approves the appointment to be a judge for the upcoming situation under clause (2) that has been mentioned in article 124 of the constitution.
