Ans : The Central ladder survey determines the rankings of national happiness. The survey is carried out in the respective countries. The citizens of the country are asked to rate their life quality with the best possible outcome on a scale of 0 to 10. 0 being the least possible outcome and on the other hand 10 being the best possible out. It can even be measured on the scale of ‘very happy’ or ‘quite happy’ to ‘not very happy’ or ‘not at all happy.
