Answer: The Lower Himalayas and Himachal are other names for the smaller Himalayas. It is situated between Shiwalik Mountains and the Greater Himalayas, also known as the Himadri Mountains. Both of these mountain ranges are nearly parallel to the Lesser Himalayas. Western Punjab, the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, Nepal, and the Assam Himalayas are all included in the Lesser Himalayas.
The Nag Tibba or Mussoorie ranges are used to identify the Lesser and Middle Himalayas within the Indian state of Uttarakhand. In the southern region of Nepal, the Mussoorie Range continues as the Mahabharat Lekh.
