Describe the advantages and disadvantages of social divisions in democracy?

Ans. There are many advantages of social divisions in democracy which are described as following: Political expression of various social divisions can be healthy and normal for the democracy, this may result in addressing the grievances of various marginalized and aggrieved social groups. Involvement of various social divisions in the democracy or political system may lead to a healthy society where every section’s problems can be addressed. Social division also leads to a diversity of decision making policies of the government and many disguised problems of society can be addressed.

And the disadvantages of social division in democracy are sometimes groups organized to bring  social justice, equality and for their interest, this may lead to protest and the protest sometimes turn into violence and conflicts.
