This course by Mudit Gupta would cover the entire Modern Indian History starting from the Decline of Mughals till the Independence of India. It would cover all the dimensions of the History of Modern India including the economic, social and political dimensions. Also, this course would take into consideration the changing pattern of UPSC and incorporate more nuances to enable the candidates to attempt questions more confidently. This course will be conducted in English and the notes will also be provided in English.

By the means of this course, learners would comprehensively understand the circumstances that led to the decline of the mighty Mughals in India. Further, it would analyze the backdrop that led to the conflict of the different European powers and the ultimate rise of British in India. Furthermore, this course would enable the learners to grasp the rise of the national movement to eliminate the British from India, the communal tensions, the political dimensions and the associated factionalism in India. Also, we would analyze the socio-religious reforms that played a major role in the national uprising and cropped up the spirit of national pride and unity.  At the end of this course, learners would be able to comprehend the dimensions associated with Modern Indian History in a better manner and attempt the questions in a more balanced and nuanced way to maximize their score.
