SOLAN Solan is situated midway between Kalka and Shimla it an ideal destination for all seasons. here and was set up in AD 1855 * The fine climate of this place round the year makes * The famous Mohan Meakin's Brewery is situated The mountains near Solan offer interesting trekking possibilities. Solan district is covered by catchment areas of three important rivers(Sutlej, Yamuna, Ghaggar)

  4. Parwanoo This is Himachal Pradesh's premier industrial township, located at the base of Shivalik Hills on Kalka-Shimla highway. Parwanoo has a large number of small and medium scale industries * This is also a gateway to Himachal Pradesh via Kalka touching the boundaries of Haryana. Rope way is a tourist attraction at Parwanod.


  6. KASAULI . This place is 77 km from Kalka. This is the second Kalka, Mohali etc, as they visit this place more home for most of the people staying at Chandigarh, often to enjoy the weather. It is situated at an altitude of 2107 m Kasauli is charming and quiet place for relaxation. It is a little town with dainty English cottages set in gardens spilling with flowers, easy and beautiful paths and old fashioned shops.

  7. KUTHAR FORT Within a short driving distance of Arki and Subathu and barely an hour away from Shimla airport- is the forth of Kuthar. Its oldest sections are 800 years old while the most recent structures are barely eight decades old

  8. SHOLONI DEVI TEMPLE It is located at the southern part of town. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Sholoni Devi after which Solan got its name
