This unique collection is an introduction to learning how to speak and understand French. It begins by teaching you how to introduce yourself with basic information and what conjugations are. It goes on to explain gender attachments in the language, with the help of nationalities and interrogation sentences. It then explains the rule to form negative sentences. Then come the definite and indefinite articles which again have a gender attachment. Taking forward conjugations, this part of the collection gives the conjugations of six other verbs (faire, aller, venir, vouloir, pouvoir, devoir). Further, it talks about one of the future tenses that is often utilised while speaking and lastly, disjunctive pronouns with examples. In the next part, it gives the days of the week and months of the year. And it talks about comparative and superlative forms i.e. superiority, inferiority and equality. It then describes partitive articles which are used with food & drink nouns. It goes on to talk about inversion questions used only formally. After which it deals with Prepositions & adverbs of places, verbs expressing displacement. It then reiterates the two tenses already taught (passe compose and imparfait) but talks about their usage. The final part of the collection starts by explaining what direct and indirect objects are, then going on to explain the pronouns and naming them. It also discusses the recent past, future simple, present progressive tense. The description is about the rules of formation of these tenses with examples.
