In this Lesson We will study about the Metaphysical School Of Poetry. This term was derived by Samuel johnson in his "Lives Of The Most Eminent Poets"(1779-1781) sometimes Lives Of The Poets. Dryden also says about Donne that " He affects the Metaphysics in His Amorous verses....".Adapting this reference from Dryden he Introduced New term that is known as METAPHSICAL SCHOOL OF POETRY.....for more information have a look of this Video.
