in this course we will learn about types of companies available in Companies Act 2013. There are basically Three Types of Companies. Which can be categorised on basis of Incorporation, control, motive and number of members and its size . On the basis of liability companies are limited by shares, limited by guarantee and unlimited liability company on the basis of incorporation, companies are statutory company , registered company.
on the basis of Number of persons companies can be classified in one person company private limited company and public limited company . similarly on the basis of size they may be divided in small and other companies. on the basis of control they may be classified in holding and subsidiary and Associate company. besides all these upper describe companies other companies are also in existence. Section 8 non profit company holding subsidiary company investment producer foreign company our government company.
