RBI slapped Rs 1 cr fine on Union Bank of India Union Bank of India said the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a penalty of Rs. 1 crore on it for delay in exchange of information regarding the conduct of the borrower's account with other lenders. The Bank said it has taken necessary preventive measures and has implemented a comprehensive corrective action plan, to strengthen internal controls and to ensure that such incidents do not recur.

Budget 2019 : Government To Set Up Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog For Welfare Of Cows In the Interim Budget 2019-20, Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday announced that a Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog will be set up for the welfare of cows in the country. The government will allocate Rs. 750 crore for Rashtriya Gokul Mission. It will set up a Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog to upscale sustainable genetic upgradation of cow resources and enhance production and productivity of cows. The Aayog will also look after effective implementation of laws and welfare schemes for cows. Mr Goyal announced a new scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) to extend direct income support at the rate of Rs. 6,000 per year to farmer families, having cultivable land up to two hectares.

This app as of now have details of 18,000 stolen mobile phones are stored. Using this app,user can lodge mobile theft complaints and also check if the user's mobile is in the police list of retrieved mobiles. Moreover if someone is buying a phone from a second-hand shop they can verify if the phone is stolen or genuine. Using this app, Users can also follow, if their stolen two-wheeler had been traced by the police.
