sir aap ki awaj clear, saaf nhi hai video me
could you please help me with this question? A die is constructed so that a 1 or 2 occurs twice as often as a 5, which occurs three times as often as a 3, 4 or 6. If the die is tossed once, find the probability of: 1. the no. is even 2. the number is perfect square 3.the number is greater than 4.
Let prob of 3, 4, 6 = x Prob of 5 = 3*x = 3x Prob of 1, 2 = 2 * 3x = 6x total faces = 18x = 6x + 6x + x + 3x + x + x 1. Even no probability = prob of (2 + 4 + 6) = 6x + x + x = 8x/18x = 4/9 2 perfect square = prob of (1 + 4) = 6x + x = 7x/18x = 7/18 3. Greater than 4 = prob (5 + 6) = 3x + x = 4x/18 = 2/9
