Water Supply Engineering

This course describes the concepts and principles of water supply engineering. Here students learn the responsibilities of environmental engineers, including providing safe drinking water, treating waste water and minimizing pollution in rivers, lakes and oceans.
This course discusses the transmission and distribution of water supply to pump facilities and ultimately to end users. Students are taught to  estimate water quantity production and demand. Students also learn about Human activities affecting the environment directly or indirectly and they also learn about the Need for protected water supply. In this course you also study about the collection and conveyance of water and many water treatment techniques.
