How do I earn and dedicate Knowledge Hats?

How do I earn Knowledge Hats? 

To earn Knowledge Hats, you must achieve certain minutes of watch time. You earn different colors of Knowledge Hats by completing different milestones.

For example, if you complete:

10 minutes - you earn a White Hat.

50 minutes - you earn a Yellow Hat.

100 minutes - you earn an Orange Hat. 

Please note, Gold Hat is the highest level of achievement available for unlocking for PLUS/ICONIC subscribers.

How do I dedicate a Hat to an Educator? 

Follow the steps mentioned below to dedicate a knowledge Hat to your favorite educators.

If you are using the Unacademy app:

1. Go to the ME tab at the bottom-right side of the app. 

2. Scroll down to Achievements. 

3. Tap on See all. Here, you will see a list of Hats unlocked by you.

4. Choose the Hat you’d like to dedicate and tap on Dedicate Hat.

5. You will see a list of Educators you are following. Select the Educator to whom you wish to dedicate the Hat.

6. Write a thank you message and tap on the icon at the top right corner of your screen to send it.

On the Unacademy website:

1. On the top right corner, click on the Watch minutes tab.

2. Scroll down to Knowledge Hats.

3. From the list of Hats earned, click on the Dedicate button and choose the educator you wish to dedicate the Hat to. Write a thank you message, and click on Submit to send it.
