Ask a doubt feature allows you to upload any doubt that is specific to your Goal and receive instant solutions that are available in Unacademy’s vast solution bank.

Currently, the Ask a doubt instant solution feature is only available for the Goals mentioned below. We are working towards expanding this feature to other Goals as well.

How to get instant solutions using the Ask a doubt feature?
Follow the steps mentioned below to use get instant solutions:
1. Go to the Self Study tab
2. Tap on Doubts and Solutions
3. Tap on Ask a doubt
4. You can either Take a picture or Choose from gallery
5. Post the picture
6. Now, select the subject that is specific to your doubt. Keep in mind that subjective or concept-based questions are not available on the Ask a doubt feature
7. You can ask as many doubts as you want, but only one at a time
8. Once your solution is ready, click on View Solution
9. Hope your doubt is resolved. Happy learning!
Please note: For all K-12 and Plus users of Test Prep, a pre-solved video solution is provided instantly, given that it is available in our solution bank. For doubts where you see 'No Solution Available', attend Live Doubt Clearing sessions and Live Classes by Top Educators to enhance your preparation along with your friends!

I posted a doubt but did not receive a solution. What should I do?
If your doubt does not have a match in our solution bank, you can attend Live Doubt Clearing sessions and Live Classes by Top Educators for further help. You can also upgrade your subscription to Iconic, if available, to get your doubts solved by a Subject Matter Expert.
Why am I seeing a ‘No solution available’ message?
If your doubt doesn’t have a match in our solution bank, you will see the ‘No solution available’ message. In such cases, please attend the Live Doubt Clearing sessions and Live Classes conducted by the Top Educators to enhance your preparation along with your friends. You can also upgrade your subscription to Iconic, if available, to get a customized Subject Matter Expert-curated solution to your doubt.
My doubt was not picked in the Live Doubt Clearing session/Live class.
We are sorry to hear that! Please understand that educators try their best to accommodate as many doubts as possible in one live session, however, a few doubts may remain unanswered due to time limitations. Do not worry! You can ask your doubt in the next Live Class, or choose to upgrade to the Iconic subscription, if available, to get a customized solution prepared by a Subject Matter Expert within 48 hours.
How to upgrade my subscription to Iconic?
To upgrade your subscription to Iconic, please follow these steps:
On Unacademy App
Go to the Me tab
Tap on Manage in the top-right corner of the screen
Now, tap on the Upgrade to Iconic button
Select Continue with Iconic
Now, add a referral code or use UNACADEMY and tap on Proceed to payment
Tap on Redeem to use your existing credits
Select your preferred mode of payment

My Goal doesn’t have an Iconic subscription.
We are constantly working on expanding our Iconic subscription across Goals. For now, please attend the Live Doubt Clearing sessions or Live Classes conducted by Top Educators in your Goal.
I am unable to upload a doubt/getting an error message on uploading a doubt. What do I do?
If the guidelines are not followed strictly, the system will reject your doubt. Please make sure you are in line with the points mentioned below:
Please make sure that the doubt raised previously has been solved and the ratings have been submitted
Please make sure that you post doubt related to your Goal else it will be marked ‘Invalid’
Please make sure the image you post is readable. It is recommended to post printed text from a book or a soft copy as opposed to handwritten text. Remember to include all the sub-options (if any) for the doubt you post
Images with multiple doubts will be rejected
Make sure you are using the Unacademy App on an Android device and are a Plus learner
