Question Paper Pattern

CBSE Board exams conducted at the end of the academic year carry a maximum score of 80 marks. The pattern of exam for each subject is as follows:

• Reading Comprehension based questions will be of 20 marks
• Writing Skill and Grammar-based questions will be of 30 marks
• Questions on Literature Textbook and Supplementary Reading Text will be of 30 marks

The question paper pattern for Mathematics has changed. Learners need tochoose between Basic or Standard Mathematics Paper. The only difference between the two papers is the difficulty level.
