This lecture develops the concept of Instantaneous speed and velocity and explains why the two are equal. It also illustrates how to obtain average and instantaneous velocity from position time relationship.

This lecture illustrates some solved examples on average and instantaneous velocity. It uses calculus also and tries to build a problem solving abililty in the students. Students are strongly advised to use notebook and pen and solve all the questions by themselves.
