This is a brief introduction to the course on p-n junction.

Introduction to the course

In this lecture, we see what happens in a pn junction after its fabrication. Proccesses such as drift, diffusion and recombination are explained, ans the formation of depletion laywr and barroer potential are also explained.

Lecture 1 : Introduction to p-n junction

In this lesson, we go through the biasing of p-n junction, and we also see how a p-n junction diode behaves at forward and reverse bias. We go through the v-i graphs and the mathematical equations of forward and reverse conditions.

Lecture 2 : P-N junction diode

In this lesson, some techniques are given as to how problems from p-n junction can be approached.

Lecture 3: Techniques to solve problems - I

Here we discuss some more techniques as to how to approach problems in an electronic circuit involving a p-n junction diode.

Lecture 4: Techniques to solve problems - II

In this lecture, we look at some previous years problems related to p-n junction diode that appeared in GATE and NET.
