Covalent Bonding - Part 2

In this lesson, we learn about the various methods of formulae and structural representation of organic compounds. We move on to some basic naming of compounds. We learn about alkyl groups and substituents, followed by functional groups. We will learn more about functional groups in Part 2.

Nomenclature - Part 1

If you have understood the examples and exercises in Part 1 of Nomenclature, this is a step forward. We discuss about various functional groups and the circumstances of naming them. After completion of this course, a student can successfully name compounds and master IUPAC nomenclature with regular practice.
