This lesson also has a section on some points which are expected to be considered by the viewers.I have then given the content list of all the lessons that are being covered in this course.

The Earth in the Solar System

This lesson has brief description of what is a globe, along with it's components.I have also elaborated on the axis of the Earth. The parallels of latitude are discussed in great detail with a mention of all the important parallels.The heat zones of the Earth are also covered in this lesson.It also has a section on the Meridians of Longitude , Prime Meridian and Grid.

Latitudes and Longitudes

This lesson is the extended portion  of the lesson on Latitudes and Longitudes.In this I have covered the concepts like Local time, Standard time, Time zones, Indian Standard time and International Date Line with the help of diagrams and maps wherever needed.

Concept of Time

In this lesson I have mentioned about the two types of motions of Earth- Rotation and Revolution . I have given all the relevant details regrading these two motions. I have also discussed in great detail about how change in seasons take place with the help of a diagram. The two key concepts - solstices and Equinox are also discussed.

Motions of the Earth

In this lesson I have tried to discuss about what a map is, different concepts related with it like scale etc. I have also mentioned about different types of maps which are used to study- for instance physical,political,thematic and general purpose maps. There is also a section on different components of a map like directions, distance, geographic coordinates, symbols, sketch and plan .

This lesson talks about four major domains of the earth- lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. In lithosphere, I have given the brief information about all seven continents.In the hydrosphere, details of five major oceans are duscussed.In the atmosphere, brief information is given for layers of atmosphere.

In this lesson I have discussed about some of the key terminologies like topography, geomorphology, weathering , erosion and deposition .The lesson also covers the factors responsible for the formation of landforms. There is detailed description of three of the major landforms present on earth - mountains and it's types, plateaus and plains ..along with importance of each landform.

In this lesson I have covered all the relevant and important facts about India like it's size, population,location, latitudinal and longitudinal extent , IST etc. I have also discussed about the following physical features of India in brief- The Northern Mountains , The Northern Plains, The Great Indian Desert, The Peninsular Plateau , The Coastal Plains and the Islands.

Our Country - India

In this lesson I have given a brief difference between the terms weather and climate, different seasons experienced in India and the factors affecting climate of a place. I have also discussed about the natural vegetation found in India with brief descriptions of different types of forests- tropical rain, tropical deciduous, thorny, mountain and mangrove forests, along with importance of forests. A brief section also covers informations about wildlife.
