In this lesson, concept of gear train is discussed along with some key features based on representation of gear train. Moreover a relation in between train value - rpm and number of teeth - rpm is also discussed which is the most basic concept and used in gear train.

This lesson tells about simple gear train and compound gear train in detail, relation between train value and number of teeth in case of simple and compound gear train. Apart from this, this lesson also covers some questions based on simple gear train with were asked Engineering Services Examination.

Simple and Compound Gear Train

This lesson covers the questions which were asked in previous years in different examinations like GATE, Engineering Services Examination and Civil Services Examination. These questions are based on compound gear train which are compiled together.
