Overview

This lesson tells about the concept behind gears. Why gears are used?  What is the relation between its rpm and its radius and implication of this relation? Whether gear works with pure rolling or pure sliding or both? Apart from this learner shall get an idea about major classification of the gears based on shaft orientation.
