Overview (in Hindi)

This lesson is dedicated to the evolution of transistors. Bipolar Junction Transistors construction is also explained in detail with the various symbols for the NPN or PNP transistors.

BJT Construction (in Hindi)

In this lesson a brief description of different operating modes is given. The operating modes like saturation, cut off and active mode are explained with the biasing voltages. In last the main application of the transistor is explained i.e. amplifying action.

BJT Operation

In this lesson a overview of all the BJT configurations is given with their properties. The Common Base Configuration is detailed here with input and output characteristics.

Common Base Configuration

This lesson is dedicated to input and output characteristics of common emitter and common collector configuration of the BJT. I have also discussed about various equations involved here in these configurations.

Common Emitter and Common Collector Configuration

In this lesson the transistor biasing is detailed, means why is it required. Also the voltage divider bias configuration is explained with easy steps to solve the circuit using Thevenin's equivalent.

Voltage Divider Bias Configuration

A brief description of difference between BJT and FET is given. The FET construction of various FET i.e. N-channel FET and P-channel FET is also detailed. The symbol of various FETs is also explained here.

Field Effect Transistors

This lesson explains the operating region of JFET and the characteristics curve followed by JFET with change in gate to source voltage levels.

JFET Characteristics

This lesson explains the difference between MOSFET and JFET. The different types of MOSFETs are also overviewed here with there symbols and structures.

MOS Field Effect Transistor

A brief description of different structures of MOSFETs is given with  their operation. Then the drain and transfer characteristics of  Enhancement and Depletion MOSFET are explained in detail.

MOSFET Operation

It describes the popularity of transistors and the scenario of today. The main advantages which lead to the popularity of CMOS are also briefed. And a example is presented of CMOS to use it in logic circuits.
