Next we will cover the problems in research methods and the reason why we don't have a standard research method in sociology. Then we study about the types of research methods, the need to use triangulation. in the methods of research,we will cover Participant observation, Surveys, and Interviews

In this lesson, we will learn what exactly is culture and what are its features, then we emphasise on the role of Socialization in learning about culture. Next we discussed why is culture not universal, and what happens as a result of much diverse cultures.Then we also differentiate between a layman's and a sociologist's definition of culture. Next we learn the Cognitive, Normative and Material Aspects of culture

Culture And Its Dimensions - I (Hindi)

In this lesson, we understand the concept of "Norm" and "Law". Then we learn how culture leads to an identity of the members and how sub cultures coexist in a culture. Then we learn what is Ethnocentrism and cosmopolitan.

In this lesson, we first understand how cultural change and cultural revolution should not be used interchangeably. Then we talk about what is Socialization and how it is a lifetime process. Then we understand how our roles in society and various agencies of Socialization affect our lives experience.
