This is the first lesson of the course "Basics of Signals and System for GATE". In this lesson we will understand about the syllabus of the signals and system and parallely we will also understand the micro level strategy plan to understand Signals and System Basics.

Part 1 : Strategy to Prepare Signals and System (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will understand about the strategy to understand the following topics in subject signals and system : 

1. Linear Time Invariant System

Part 2 : Strategy to Prepare Signals and System (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will understand about the continuous time signal and it's properties. We will also learn the concept of following signals and mathematical expression .

Part 1 : Continuous Time Signals (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will understand about the continuous time signal and it's properties. We will also learn the concept of following signals and their mathematical expression .

Part 2 : Continuous time signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will understand the concept of signals classification, where we will learn the concept of deterministic and nondeterministic signal. Signal Classification (in Hindi)

In this particular lesson we will understand about the Periodic and Non-periodic signals. We will also understand how to identify the overall periodicity of the signal if the given signal is the sum of two other periodic signal. We will solve the problem as well to understand the concept in much detail.

Periodic and Non-Periodic Signal(in Hindi)

In this lesson we will understand the concept for Energy and Power Signal. We will also understand the concept like when the energy of the signal will be finite then power of the signal will be zero. At the end of the lesson we will solve few problems to understand the concept of Energy and Power Signal in more detail.

Part 1: Energy and Power Signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will continue to understand the concept for Energy and Power Signal. We will also solve some standard problems on Energy and Power Signal to understand our concept in more detail. At the end of the lesson we will also learn the concept of even and odd conjugate.

Part 2 : Energy and Power Signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will learn the concept of even and odd signal. We will also understand how to determine the signal even components and odd components when  the signal is neither even  nor odd. At the end of the lesson we will also solve some problems to understand the concept in more detail.

Even and Odd signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson the concept of causal, noncausal are explained with an examples. We will also understand the concept of amplitude scaling and time scaling. At the end of the lesson we will learn about time shifting property of signals.

Part 1 : Mathematical Operations on Signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will learn about the time shifting of signals,  We will also understand the concept of folding of a signal. At the end of the lesson we will learn how to multiply two signals and add two signals with the help of mathematical problems.

Part 2 : Mathematical Operation on Signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson the concept of impulse Signal is throughly explained. We will also learn how the magnitude of impulse Signal is coming as infinity at Origin and area of impulse signal is unity. At the end of the lesson we will solve some problems as well based on our concept that we understood during this course.

Concept of Impulse Signal (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will solve some basics problems on Signals and System to revise our concept. We will learn how to plot the graph of a signal with a given equation. We will also understand how the slope is getting nullified when we subtract the positive slope with the negative slope.

SET A: GATE Problem Series (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will continue to solve more problems on Signals and System Basics. We will learn how to apply scaling and shifting property in the given signal with the help of given problems. We will  also understand how to differentiate the graphical signal and plot the resultant signal.

SET B : GATE Problem Series (in Hindi)

In this lesson we will continue to solve more problems on Signals and System Basics. We will learn how to identify the periodicity of the signal. We will also understand how to plot the signum signal based on the problem.

SET C : GATE Problem Series (in Hindi)

This is the final lesson of the course Basics of signals and system. In this lesson we will solve some basic GATE oriented problems. We will also look into the entire course summary, the topics which we covered so far. At the end of the lesson we also look into the upcoming courses on signals and system.
