This lesson is the introduction of the government budget. Here, three distinct functions that operate through the revenue and expenditure measures of the government budget are discussed.

This lesson talks about the two types of goods, that are public goods and private goods. The differences between these two types of goods are discussed in this lesson and the term public provision is also discuss here.

Public Goods and Private Goods

This lesson talks about the revenue component of government budget. It explains the revenue receipts and revenue expenditures.

Components of Government Budget: Revenue Account

This lesson talks about the capital budget which is one of the two components of the government budget. Capital budget is categorised into two parts i.e. capital receipts and capital expenditure and these categories are also described in this lesson.

This lesson is the summary of the budget deficit and its different measures. The revenue deficit, the fiscal deficit and the primary deficit have been discussed in this lesson.

Measures of Government Deficit

The fiscal policy is discussed in this lesson with some details about the consumption function. This lesson also discusses about the equilibrium income level which can be found out through the consumption function.
