This lesson talks about the historical background of the study of Universe because several questions have been asked from this topic.
It also deals with Galaxies; Milky way, shapes of galaxies; theories on the origin of the Universe in which we will study about the most important Big Bang theory.

The Universe: Big Bang Theory

This lesson deals with the remaining two theories on the origin of the universe i.e. Steady State Theory and Pulsating Universe Theory or Cyclic Model. Evidence of Big Bang Theory. Concepts of Red Shift, Blue shift, Electromagnetic spectrum, Dark matter, Dark energy, Astronomical measurements etc.

The Universe: Fundamentals of Geography

This lesson deals with the life cycle of low mass and high mass stars and gives a clear insight on how stars are born and how they lead to death.
Colour and temperature relationship of the stars from which UPSC has asked the question and all about constellations etc.

The Stars: Fundamentals of Geography

This lesson talks about the various hypothesis on the origin of Solar System, Internal structure of Sun, Solar Phenomenon, Few important space terms like Asteroids, comets, Meteor, Bollide, Fireballs etc; You will be able to understand the basic difference between meteor, meteorites and meteoroids etc.

Solar System: Fundamentals of Geography

In this lesson, we will study the features of all planets, mostly important facts which have been asked in exam.
Classification of planets: Inner and Outer planets; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and talk about the dwarf planet 'Pluto'.
