Overview of the Course: Develop a Strong Foundation of Atomic Structure

Through this lesson, initially, Kanishk will take you through the introduction on what structure of atoms deal with. Then he talks about the two initial models of the atom. He then explains Dalton's theory along with JJ Thomson atomic model which is also known as Plum Pudding model. He has described all the postulates related to it.

Introduction to Thomson's Model of Atom

In this lesson, Kanishk speaks about a fascinating and an important atomic model, that is Rutherford's Atomic Model. Rutherford's Atomic Model, which is also known as Alpha scattering experiment is discussed completely. The complete experiment is explained along with its observations. Also, in the end, introduction to Quantum theory is detailed together with the facts due to which failure of Rutherford Model occurred.
