Overview

It introduces the concept of imaginary numbers using iota and then the complex numbers are introduced as a superset of real and imaginary numbers.

It introduces the various ways of representing complex numbers and also defines conjugate of complex number.

In this lesson,  I teach the students with the help of examples,  how they can convert complex numbers  from one form to another.  I have also discussed how the operations like addition and subtraction can be applied on them.  I have given properties of modulus,  argument and conjugate.

III : Operations on Complex Numbers and Properties of Modulus, Argument and Conjugate

It discusses previous year questions of JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED so that the student can analyze his/her level of understanding of the topic and preparation for the exam.

In this lesson,  the rotation theorem is introduced and geometrical interpretation of multiplication and division is given.
