This is the introductory lesson of the course Carboxylic acids and their derivatives. In this lesson, we'll learn about its structure and Nomenclature of Carboxylic acids, esters, amides, nitrites, acid anhydrides etc.

In this lesson we'll learn about the Physical properties of Carboxylic acids such as it's polar nature, hydrogen bonding, solubility, boiling point and odour. We'll also study the relative acidic strength of Carboxylic acids
