This course basically deals with the basics of accounting or I would say the introduction to accounting where I have tried to discuss about the main topics as a course overview which I will be discussing in the upcoming sessions followed by the definition of accounting given by the different associations of America and American institute of certified public accountants. This is just a course overview which will provide you a base of telling you that what we will be discussing in the upcoming lessons.

Introduction to Accounting

This portion of the lesson I have tried to discuss about the primary functions of accounting which is again a base for starting up the topic of financial accounting and how accounting is an aid to decision making is also discussed in this lesson along with its information process which is very important again and the flow of accounting information. I am just try to explain out the basic functions and the importance also of accounting information in this particular lesson that how it helps out to take up the decisions for the business and for the entity.

In this portion of the lesson of the course accounting I have discussed about the different users of accounting information whether it be external or internal with their explanation followed by the different types of accounting which is not important to be studied but mandatory to be studied so I have just discussed that and some more definitions that are to be remembered by the aspirants who are preparing for CA CPT examinations with their clear cut short explanation which is necessary for the purpose of the examination.

This portion of the lesson describes about the owners equity where I have tried to explain you the basic terms the basic conditions of owners equity with its effects of transactions in a story line manner so that it can be a Useful information about you and it can be remembered by you for a longer period of time because these are the basic things which will actually be coming in front of you in your whole accounting life. It is a small topic but if you don't concentrate on it while studying it it would be a very difficult one and would create a hurdle for you to perform in your future chapters of accounting so please go through the lesson as I have just tried to discuss it in very simple language.

This portion of the lesson describes about the very important topic of accounting that is the accounting equation and it may be a easy one but it requires a lots of practice and a list to be remembered by you in your mind in your heart because this list not only will be helpful for you in this particular topic but in your father upcoming topics of financial accounting as well. It just contains of a simple one line formula but instead of learning it go through it as a story and understand it as I have just try to explain you out in this lesson and it will be remembered for a longer period and will benefit you out because it is also very important topic for the purpose of preparing balance sheet.
