In this Lesson, the working of window Air conditioner is explained. This particular lesson will create your interest in the subject. The important components of window air conditioner are Compressor, Condensor, Expansion Device and Evaporator. The flow of refrigerant and flow of air is explained in this lesson.

Window Air Conditioner

This lesson starts with the basics Psychrometry which is basically the study of moist air. The important terms like specific humidity, relative humidity and degree of saturation are explained. The relation between these important terms is also derived.

Psychrometry

This lesson throws light on Dry Bulb Temperature, Wet Bulb Temperature and Dew Point Temperature. Through this lesson one will gain the difference between these temperatures. Apart from that, the various line on psychrometric chart is explained like DBT line, specific humidity line, relative humidity line, etc.
