This lesson starts with an introduction to Election commission. Free and fair election are part of the basic structure of the constitution and ensuring that is the responsibility of the Election commission. Pasrt XV (324-329) of Indian constitution deals with the Election commission. It then talks about how Superintendence, Direction and control of election - all lies with the Election commission.
