This lesson provides an overview of the course. This lesson explains the utility of the course as well as the course structure.

Overview of the Course

This lesson explains the two struggles in Nepal and Bolivia. The first example is a struggle for the restoration of democracy in Nepal and the second example is a struggle against the democratic Bolivian government against its water privatisation policy.

Popular Struggles in Nepal and Bolivia

In this lesson , we look at the differences and similarities between the Nepalese and Bolivian struggles. We also draw a conclusion from the two struggles. We also look at the organisations involved in these struggles and how ordinary citizens can influence decisions in politics.

In this lesson , we discuss the interest groups , pressure groups and their characteristics. We also understand the meaning of movements and the various types of movement groups.
