This is the overview session of the course Network Theorems by Saibal Ghosh. Network Theorems is an important & crucial topic for GATE in EE as well as the most fundamental thing for the EE students. This session gives a rough idea of the entire course in terms of its syllabus, previous years' marks allocation in GATE & learning goals.

Course Overview

This is the first lesson of the course Network Theorems by Saibal Ghosh. This lesson covers the two fundamental laws of Network Theorems i.e. KCL, KVL & their corollaries. A few problems with solutions from previous GATE EE papers have been discussed in this lesson along with some practice problems from previous GATE EE papers.

KCL and KVL

This is the second lesson of the course of Network Theorems by Saibal Ghosh. In this lesson the five Basic Network Elements i.e. Voltage source, Current source, Resistance, Inductance & Capacitance are discussed. Different series & parallel combination of R,L,C components have been formulated with examples here. A few problems with solutions from previous GATE EE papers along with some practice problems are also given here.

Basic Network Elements

This is the third lesson of the course Network Theorems by Saibal Ghosh. This lesson focuses on the Self & Mutual properties of magnetically coupled inductive coils. The Dot Convention in case of magnetically coupled circuits is completely elaborated here considering all the possible cases.

In this lesson a few problems with solutions from Self, Mutual Inductances & Dot Convention are discussed; the theories of which were covered in the previous lesson.
