Basic Concepts of Macroeconomics Part 1

This lesson is a continuation of Basic concepts of Macroeconomics, where the concepts of stick, flows, gross investment, depreciation and net investment are discussed. This lesson is strictly based on the CBSE Class XII Economics syllabus.

Basic Concepts of Macroeconomics Part 2

In this lesson, the four factors of production are discussed. The remuneration paid to the factors are also discussed here. Moreover the assumptions made in the simple economy is a part of this lesson. This lesson is strictly based on the CBSE Class XII Economics syllabus.

This lesson is an important part of Macroeconomics where the circular flow of income in a simple economy is discussed. This lesson follows CBSE Class XII Economics syllabus.

Circular Flow of Income

In this lesson, the methods  calculation of National income is discussed in brief. Out of the three methods, product method is discussed in this lesson. The meaning, example of product method is discussed and along with it, we have discussed about the concepts gross value added and net value added of the firms.

Calculation of National income

This lesson discusses the product method of calculating national income accounting. Here, the terms, inventories, gross domestic products and net domestic products are discussed. This lesson strictly follows CBSE Class XII Economics syllabus.

Product method

In this lesson, the expenditure method of calculating national income is discussed. The four accounts of expenditure made in the economy are explained and how a firm's revenue can be determined with this expenditure is discussed. The calculation of GDP by using expenditure method is also a part of this lesson.

Expenditure method

This lesson is the explanation of the income method to calculate GDP. Here, the terms, budget deficit and trade deficit is defined. We also learn about how we can state investment is equal to savings in this very lesson. This lesson is based on the CBSE Class XII Economics syllabus.

Income method

Some important Macroeconomic identities are discussed in this lesson and how we find the National income of a country with this identities. Here, we discuss about the Gross national product, Net national product, indirect taxes, subsidies and finally, calculation of National income.
