In this lesson, we are going to learn what Barter System is, how it was used and what were the limitations that led to the end of the Barter System.

This topic is one of the initial chapters to our course on "Money and Banking." Before talking about Money, understanding what existed before money is really important.

(1) A 2 mark question asking you to define the Barter System and explain it.

Meaning and Limitations of Barter System

In this chapter, we are going to look at the Functions of Money. 

This is an important chapter for the Commerce Students of Std 12. Money, being the bedrock of Commerce and Economics, this chapter is taught, just while beginning with Std 12 Commerce.
