The other topics which are discussed in this course are spontaneity of a process and enthalpy change, randomness or disorder and concept of entropy change, and then calculations of entropy change in different process and entropy change during phase transitions is also discussed. Different statements of the second law of thermodynamics is also discussed. Then the concept of absolute entropy and third law of thermodynamics will be discussed. And then gibbs free energy will be described. Further topics which will be discussed are free energy change and spontaneity, effect of temperature on feasibility of the process and standard gibbs free energy change.
