भारतीय संविधान एवं राजव्यवस्था के इस भाग में भारतीय संविधान के भाग 2 का वर्णन किया गया है जोकि नागरिकता के बारे में है यह अनुच्छेद 5 से शुरू होकर अनुच्छेद 11 तक विस्तृत है इसमें भारतीय नागरिकता अधिनियम 1955 भी शामिल है

इस अध्याय में मौलिक अधिकारों का वर्णन किया गया है मौलिक अधिकार भारतीय संविधान के भाग 3 में अनुच्छेद 12 से 35 तक वर्णित है इस अध्याय में राज्य तथा मौलिक अधिकारों के संबंध में संसद की कानून निर्माण की स्थिति का वर्णन किया गया है

इस अध्याय के अंतर्गत भारतीय संविधान में वर्णित समानता के अधिकार का वर्णन किया गया है जिसके अंतर्गत कानून के समक्ष समानता का वर्णन किया गया है

भारतीय संविधान में वर्णित स्वतंत्रता के अधिकार का वर्णन किया गया है जिसके अंतर्गत वाक् एवं अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता तथा दोष सिद्धि के विरुद्ध संरक्षण शामिल है
