In this lesson we learn about cause of chemical combination between the atoms.
We known electro of one atom attract the nucleus of another atom and the bond formation occur (in short).
In bond formation role of potential energy is very important bcz bond is formed when energy is released i.e EXOTHERMIC PROCESS.

Cause of Chemical Combination (in Hindi)

In this lesson we learn about the octate rule and it's exception. 
Octate rule says all the elements get 8 electrons in their outer most shell, for getting 8 electron it will lose, gain and share the electro to their respective elements.
There are some exceptions to the octate rule 
(1) Electron deficient molecules or Hypovalent molecules, in which less than 8 electron in their outer most shell. 
(2) Expansion of octate rule or hypervalent molecules, in which more than 8 electron in their outer most shell.

(3) Pseudo inert gas configuration, in which 18 electron in their outer most shell. 
(4) Pseudo inert +2 gas configuration, in which +2 electron present in their valance shell along with 18 electron.
