The course starts with the concepts of centre of mass. It then discusses  centre of mass in great detail through calculations in few examples like that of a uniform rod, uniform semicircular wire, uniform sheet etc. Both discrete and continuous body scenarios are taken for centre of mass calculations. The course then talks about linear momentum & its conservation principle. It discusses the concepts of elastic, inelastic & partially elastic collision. Finally coefficient of restitution is discussed. Towards the end, some objective conceptual questions are taken up followed by previous years' questions and concluded by the summary.

The lesson first solves a simple example for centre of mass calculation and then talks about centre of mass for a two particle system.

The lesson talks about the inferences from finding the centre of mass of a group of systems where centre of mass of individual system is known.

The lesson talks about finding centre of mass of continuous bodies. It then illustrates the same through solving for centre of mass for a uniform straight rod.

2) Define proper limits for element to move from such that it covers the entire body
