Read important portions; skim some; skip some. A combination of these 3 things will help you read and understand the passage within 3 mins.

Step 1 - Skimming, Skipping, Scanning

While doing your smart reading, try to note down a few important words from every paragraph. This helps you in locating the answers without wasting time.

Step 2 - Rough Sheet

When cruising through a passage, keep an eye 👁 out for pockets around which questions are likely to be set. Those pockets need to be scanned.

Step 3 - Identify Question Pockets

When you are done reading the passage in 3 mins, simply ask yourself 3 questions and these questns have to be answered in 30 secs. If you are able to answer them, you have read and understood the passage well.

Step 4 - The 30-Second Hack

While solving the questions, apply the process of elimination for better accuracy.
