Rosenmund's catalyst, Lindlar's catalyst, Birch Reduction and Hydroboration of alkynes to alkenes are discussed with many examples in this video.

Reduction of Alkynes to Alkenes

We discuss dehydration by E1 mechanisn and many examples citing the mechanism of carbocation rearrangement and ring expansion.

Dehydration of Alcohols by Concentrated H2SO4

The very important Saytzeff and Hoffman elimination are discussed. E1,E2 elimination's basics are discussed. Al2O3 and ThO2 are discussed.
