What is the syllabus for AIMT?
The AIMT syllabus is designed to mirror the CAT exam. It covers Reading Comprehension, para-jumbles, summaries, and odd-sentence questions in VARC; data interpretation from charts, tables, and caselets along with logical reasoning sets in DILR; and arithmetic, algebra, geometry, number systems, and modern mathematics in QA. The difficulty level and timing are aligned to give you the closest possible CAT experience.
What is the eligibility criteria for AIMT?
All CAT and OMET aspirants are eligible to take AIMT. This includes graduates, final-year students, and working professionals. Each learner is allowed one valid attempt to ensure fairness in ranking.
How much is the registration fee for AIMT?
The registration fee for AIMT is completely free. You only need to enroll on the Unacademy app or website to participate.
When will be AIMT analysis done?
AIMT provides a detailed performance analysis within 24 hours of the test. The report includes section-wise scores, accuracy, time spent, and peer comparison. In addition, India’s top educators conduct live analysis sessions to explain the test, highlight key learnings, and guide you on improving your strategy.
Where and how will I be able to attempt AIMT?
AIMT is conducted entirely online. You can attempt it from a laptop or mobile device through the Unacademy app or website. Once you enrol, you can choose your preferred slot, read the instructions, and start the test on time.
When will the AIMT results be announced?
The results of AIMT are announced within 24 hours after the test window closes. Your scorecard and All-India rank will be available on your test dashboard, and you will also receive notifications on the app and by email.
What will happen incase of rank clashes?
In the event of a rank clash, learners with the same score will share the same rank. If required, tie-break rules such as higher sectional performance and fewer negative marks will be applied.
Will AIMT also be conducted offline?
AIMT will not be conducted offline. It is an online-only test so that aspirants from all parts of the country can participate under standardised conditions and receive quick results.
